The Aron with The Luchos
Materials and Instuctions:
Per student: 2 bathroom tissue rolls, 1 baby wipes box, 4 index cards, 2x2 inch square of dark blue foam sheet, 2 Styrofoam ball 2 inch diameter (purchased at ACMoore), gold fabric paint, gold spray paint that is special for Styrofoam. ( Purchased at ACMoore), 2 small cut out circles from a doily to fit on Styrofoam "heads" (purchased at ACMoore), 1 ounce shot or garnish cup, and use glue gun.
Using the index cards draw and cut out 4 wings , 2 for each angel and 2 circles from doily. Spray paint the wings the circles, the 2 bathroom tissue rolls along with the baby wipes box and Styrofoam balls. The box should be sprayed on the inside too. Glue the rolls with Styrofoam balls on to the box. Glue the wings to the rolls and the circles on the heads. You may want to glue everything together first and spray paint afterward but you may miss some spots. Cut out the 2 inch square from the dark blue sheet of foam,and write the Luchos by writing out the letters alef thru yod on the square with gold fabric paint. With permanant marker write "Mon" on the little cup and seal with cap or tin foil. This represents the Manna that was saved in a jar for future generations to see. Place "Mon" and the Luchos into the Aron.
